It is not possible to embed the <span ="highlight">font</span> in the PDF after the PDF has been generated by a PDF printer driver such as PDFCreator, as you are trying to do."<br><br>My PDF is created by another tool and I am trying to embed the font for text that is already in the PDF.&nbsp; I can upload a sample if you think it is worth the trouble.<br><br>Bob<br><br>]]>

   <title><![CDATA[Embedding fonts : I&amp;#039;m trying to embed a font...]]></title>

    <![CDATA[<strong>Author:</strong> <a href="http://www.quickpdf.org/forum/member_profile.asp?PF=2208">BobW</a><br /><strong>Subject:</strong> 2833<br /><strong>Posted:</strong> 18 Feb 14 at 8:49PM<br /><br />I'm trying to embed a font in an existing PDF but it doesn't seem to work the way I think it should.<br><br>I have an existing PDF that does not have embedded fonts.&nbsp; The PDF uses OCR A Extended, which is a TrueType font.&nbsp; I embed the font using LoadFromFile and AddTrueTypeFont then SaveToFile.&nbsp; I get back a font ID so I know it embedded.&nbsp; Also the file is quite a bit bigger.&nbsp; When I view the file in Adobe Reader or Adobe Acrobat on a PC without that font, it is doing a substitution for Helvetica.&nbsp; How can I get that text to display in the font I am embedding.<br><br>Thanks,<br>Bob<br>]]>
