Author: Aly
Subject: 2785
Posted: 19 Nov 13 at 12:28PM

Hi,

I'm hoping someone can help me with this one. I have a table that has some merged cells and the table is long enough that it requires me to print it over multiple pages. Printing over multiple pages is fine and my code for doing that works a treat except for merged cells.

The problem I have is when a merged cell (3 rows merged in first column) occurs at the point when the table crosses between pages. It ends up trying to print some of the merged cell on the first page and the rest of the merged cell on the next page which leads to some interesting graphics .

Is there a way to automatically deal with this? Alternatively I will need to manage the drawing of the table rows myself and query the row heights to determine how many rows I can print and this way detect the cross over point 'manually'. Is this the approach I need to take? Would be awesome if there was a setting to cope with merged cells in this way using the standard row drawing commands.

Thanks in advance,

Aly
