It all depends on what kind of pdf you have.

If it is a simple pdf file with text, you can extract all the text with locations, then recreate in your
program with a transparent background. If it has images, other objects, then you have more work to do by extract them, recreate them like the text. Or you can work on rendered document's pixels, change them one by one. None of the above is a easy job to do.

Hi Martin,

you cannot change the colors in an existing PDF. Sometimes a white area is used to make underlying parts invisible. It would not work, if anybody could change this white color anyway to nocolor.

But it would be a work deep inside then PDF-structure to realize a such behavior. You have to find the "white objects" and give them a new life with no content. Nothing for a short time...

If you are the producer of this PDF, thats another play.

Hi all,

is it possible to make pdf document transparent in order to import/overlay it to another pdf document using QuickPdf?

I'm trying to print the pdf document using the 'PrintDocument' method. But I can't find an option to switch the document to transparent. I would like to have the white space transparent.

The problem I'm having is that the printed document covers the other pdf documents content when I use the 'MergeDocument' and 'DrawCapturedPage'.

Hope you guys have some advice!
