Author: robbo969
Subject: 2351
Posted: 25 Jul 12 at 11:35PM

Hi,

Struggling with different experiences with links using AddEmbeddedFile followed by AddLinkToEmbeddedFile. There are three differences to normal interactivity;

Why is the link a double click when all other links are single click?

Is there a way of having the mouse cursor change to apointer, like it does on normal links? Can manage this with an option of 0,1,3,4 or 5 but don't want an icon.

The double click of the link makes it incompatible with an iPad and it would be nice to use it on an iPad

I attach an example of the created PDF, this one uses 2 as the Options (no icon). If you click 'Please click here to continue', and on the second screen navigate to 'Appendicies' > 'Company Background Information' > 'Company Details' and then double click either of the dummy files it should work.

I'd like to have this last link (to the file) behave like the other links. To change the cursor and be a single click. I am begining to think that I will need to add the file and then create the link using JavaScript. Would JavaScript be the answer?

Looking forward and welcoming any advice

Best regards,
Graeme
