Ingo,

IIRC, most folks avoid LZW encoding because of some patent issue or other. Almost all the PDFs I come across use Flate encoding, which you can uncompress easily with the free zlib library.

Hi!

QuickPDF has problems with the LZWDecode method. Textextraction doesn't work fine...
Is there a component (or an idea how to do it) to change lzw compression method with another compression type ... or to remove the lzw-compression?
I'm working with delphi.
